Fees and Rebates

An initial appointment ranges from 60-90 minutes, and subsequent sessions are between 50 – 60 minutes. The consultation fees vary and depend on the length of your consult. Our fees are substantially lower than the recommended APS schedule of fees.

Fees are payable at the end of each session by cash or via credit / debit card (VISA and MasterCard). The preferred payment method is credit / debit card.

Inner North Psychology and Health is not a bulk billing practice. However if you have a referral from your medical practitioner you may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. If you are claiming the Medicare Rebate this can be processed on the day, provided a referral letter has been sent by your GP.

If you have private health insurance you may be eligible to receive a rebate. Please contact your private health insurer for details. You cannot claim a Medicare rebate and private health insurance for the same appointment.

Completion of reports, letters and forms

Psychological reports, letters and forms completed outside of sessions are charged separately based on the hourly rate, and attract a GST component.

Please note: Inner North Psychology and Health does not work with court cases and does not offer court or medico-legal reports. If you are likely to require such a service, please bring it to our attention for discussion.
